Below you will find several cases that we have had the privilege to treat in our facility. I will separate the cases by type of treatment for easy reference. All cases have releases on file.

CBP Chiropractic Cases: These are cases of curves in the 2o’s for younger kids and some of adults with scoliosis.

 
 

Case Study 1

 

Case 1. 15 year old female. Competitive dancer. Complains of lower back pain after dancing. 3 months at 3 days a week of CBP postural and structural rehab, using mirror image adjustments, mirror image exercises and corrective traction using the Scoliroll and standing corrective traction. Also a 9mm heel lift placed in the left shoe to level the pelvis.

Initial Lumbar AIS curve 24.6 degrees 3 month result 5.2 degrees

Total reduction in curve was 19.4 degrees or 79%

Case Study 2

 

Case 2. 16 year old female. Complains of lack of curve in waist due to scoliosis. Has a primary left thoracolumbar scoliosis with thoracic compensation curve. Underwent 4 months at 3 days a week CBP postural and structural rehab, using mirror image adjustments, mirror image exercises and corrective traction using the Scoliroll and standing corrective traction. Also a 12mm heel lift was placed under the left leg to level the pelvis. 

Initial Thoracolumbar AIS curve 36.7 degrees 3 months result 17.4 degrees

Total reduction in curve was 19.3 degrees or 52.5%

Case Study 3

 

Case 3. 20 year old male. Has a double curve with an upper thoracic curve to the right and a lower lumbar curve to the left. This patient also had a large left leg anatomical difference of 17mm that caused his pelvis to tilt to the left. 2 months of daily CBP postural and structural rehab, as he was home from college for the summer, using mirror image adjustments, mirror image exercises and corrective traction using the Scoliroll and standing corrective traction. Also a 17mm sole lift was added to his left shoe to level his pelvis.

Case Study 4

 

Initial right thoracic curve 26.4 degrees 2 month result 15.2 degrees 1 year follow up on summer break

Initial left lumbar curve 34.2 degrees 2 month result 23.8 degrees right thoracic curve 16.3 degrees

Total reduction in thoracic curve 11.2 degrees or 42% left lumbar curve 25.6 degrees

Total reduction in lumbar curve 10.4 degrees or 30% Maintaining correction with home care

 

Case 4. 16 year old female. No complaints of pain but parents noticed her posture was shifted. Has a Left Thoracolumbar scoliosis. Underwent 4 months and 3 days a week of CBP postural and structural rehab using mirror image adjustments, mirror image exercises and standing corrective traction, this was pre Scoliroll.
